This 3/4'' lead free hose thread adapter is used to install a water hammer arrestor directly to washing machine supply lines to control the water pressure shock and prevent water hammer conditions that are damaging to pipes and appliances. It is made of lead free cast brass and has a 1/2'' threaded inlet for water hammer mounting and 3/4'' hose thread fitting to connect to the washing machine supply lines.
